Peace Post Comes Home: A NYC Debut at St. John the Divine
Last year, our team partnered with the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on a refreshed brand identity, helping one of New York City’s great institutions articulate its next chapter. The work was rooted in honoring the Cathedral’s legacy while opening its doors wider to the future. Through that process, we came to know the people behind the Cathedral’s mission: caretakers, curators, and cultural leaders committed to making this sacred space feel deeply alive.
We spoke about Peace Post in our earliest conversations with St. John the Divine. That project—eight years in the making and representing peace advocates from every country in the world—resonated with our new partners, and in many ways helped them understand who we are as a studio. At the time, we had just launched Peace Post as a traveling exhibition, beginning with its first stop at the International Peace Museum in Dayton, Ohio. From there, it traveled to Virginia, where it was shown at both Piedmont Arts and Art 180.
Now, we are bringing it home—to New York City, and to St. John the Divine—a place that has spent more than a century creating space for moral inquiry, artistic experimentation, and collective healing. There is something profoundly moving about placing this collection within its walls.
The timing makes the moment even more resonant. As New York prepares to welcome the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Peace Post arrives as a reflection of our shared humanity.
That is what this exhibition offers. In a time that often rewards speed, outrage, and simplification, I am grateful to have built something that asks the opposite of us:
Slow down, look closely, and remember what connects us.
