Let’s celebrate the 2021 Summer Olympics

Dinolympics is an athletic twist on the Chrome Dino game within the Google Chrome browser celebrating the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The Chrome Dino is a beloved character in a simple left-right scroll game that appears when a person attempts to use the browser without internet.

For this special edition, the game starts as usual, then our hero is magically transported to Japan. The determined Dino competes in five classic Olympic games: gymnastics, hurdles, equestrian, surfing, and swimming. We built an entire pixel world from race courses to Dino’s fancy horses, plus a celebratory poster with our pixelated take on Olympic sport pictograms.
